Lessons from a Kindergarten Mom
Well, Olivia has been in kindergarten for a while now and she has adjusted so
well. She absolutely loves it. She knows all the kids in her class
by their names and has a ton of friends. She adores her teacher.
She loves art and music the most. And break of course. She has
never said once she doesn't want to go to school.
Olivia started writing her own name. I was very emotional
when I saw that. Kindergarten has been a huge success for her.
Now, she is very friendly stopped taking her favorite baby bunny at school with her.
But I still feel like a lost puppy.
Not because I'm sad without her or even feel anxious. I've actually been completely okay emotionally.
But most days - I feel like I have NO IDEA what I'm doing.
Am I alone??????

I
have hired her pick up lady name Gemma and she is very nice Italian lady and
she pick her at 2.45 pm
Olivia’s
school (Red Willow) starts at 8:15 am and her Daddy and Dad drop her at the
school in the mornings. Its is a new world trying to get up and ready and fed
and bags packed and lunches ready and on top I have to leave at 7:30 am for my work.
Some days are pretty smooth. Some days like today it’s a complete train wreck.
And there are the million forms that come in Tuesday folders. And the $3 here and the $12 here that I constantly need to keep up with.
Sometimes Olivia’s like Mommy I was the ONLY one without a library book. You were supposed to put that in my bag pack".
And there are book fairs and carnivals that I don't really know how they work. I guess by the time Isha hits kindergarten I will be one of those moms who knows what is going on. I hope I can find a mom who looks a little like a deer in the headlights and help her out a little.
Love Always

Happy Un-Birthday!
Happy Un-Birthday!
I'm
a day late - but Isha is now 22 months old!
Isha
- you weigh around 21 pounds. You wear a size 18 months clothes and a 5
shoe.
You
are such a great eater. You will eat just about anything. You LOVE fruit
- grapes are your favorite. I'm thankful you aren't picky.
You
take 1 good naps a day and you are only getting up about once a night right
now.
Your
vocabulary is really growing. You say a lot of words and I can also tell you
understand so much of what I tell you. You are starting to follow
commands, which is neat to see that develop.
You
are pretty easy mannered and happy. You have started the "terrible
twos" fits from time to time. It's the whole "can't communicate"
issue. When you get mad - you get REALLY mad. :-)
You
are super busy. And a climber. You keep me on my toes.
You
have a funny little personality. I'm loving seeing who you will become!
Olivia
at 22 months. Y'all are alike in some ways and different in so many other
ways.
That
just seems so old......we are on the downhill climb to FIVE! We started
Kindergarten! Life is going to change some for us this year - we have new
things on the horizon and as sad as I am for you to grow up - I'm loving this
new stage.
Olivia
- your speech has really improved and taken off lately!
You
are so fun to be around. You are just the funniest little person I know.
The
days are flying by and my girls are growing fast.
And
I love you both more every day!

First day of Junior Kindergarten
l, we have begun
kindergarten and it's going really well. Olivia cried on her first day. Me and
Raj were also crying on our way back home.
Olivia was SOOOOO
excited about her first day but cried for a minute!
Little sister has not
been thrilled. She has been missing her best friend during the day and
now her Grand Mom is her only entertainment until Olivia comes back from school
Olivia has a
WONDERFUL teacher Mrs. Baetz & Mrs. Ahsan and she LOVES them. She is
learning so much already and just absolutely loves school.
